Are you ready for a little ‘Saturday Night Fever’? I sure am! And like so many other Ontario fans of the famous Gibbs brothers, I’m pretty excited for the upcoming appearance of Bee Gees Now in Orillia, one of North America’s top tribute bands.
Hailing from the Sunshine State of Florida, Bee Gees Now are a quintet of talented musicians who’ve spent years honing their authentic reproduction of the voices and instruments that so defined the disco sound of the 1970s. And for one night only, this spectacular tribute band will be strutting their stuff on stage at the Orillia Opera House.
This must-see event for lovers of nostalgia and great music takes place at the Opera House on (of course!) Saturday night, September 10th, 2022.
Bee Gees Now in Orillia to Perform Disco’s Greatest Hits
The performers of this fun interactive show go to great length to accurately reproduce the sound of Barry, Maurice, and Robin Gibb, the trio who’s music shook the dance floor and defined the disco sound.
They’re covers of such hits as Stayin’ Alive, Night Fever, and Jive Talkin’ are so spot-on accurate and authentic, in fact, that you’ve only got to close your eyes and you’ll think it’s the original band blasting out their greatest hits. Don’t believe me? Check out this Bee Gees Now video and see for yourself.
This magical Bee Gees tribute band promise to transport music lovers back to the disco era with these and other songs from the band’s catalogue of hits, as well as their best-known ballads and love songs. In addition to great music, it’s also a very convincing theatrical presentation that perfectly captures the glitz and glamour of this period in pop history.
